Welcome to the Ingleside Tutorial Admissions Process
Thank you for considering Ingleside for your family. Taking the steps below will help you get to know us and determine if we are a good fit for one another.
1. Are We a Good Fit?
Ingleside Tutorial, Inc. believes the literal word and authority of the Bible.
The methodologies of Charlotte Mason’s academic principles are how we implement this worldview in the classroom. We also ask that families of Ingleside students submit to our Statement of Faith and the Apostles Creed as a basis of theological understanding.
2. Application Pre-Work
Ingleside Tutorial follows Charlotte Mason’s principles of education.
As co-educators with parents, our desire is to encourage one another and be of like mind. There is some pre-work to be done prior to submitting an application.
3. Application
Thanks for doing the lengthy work to get to know us, and figure out if we are a good fit for one another.
- Download the application, complete it, and email it to info@inglesidetutorial.com
- Pay the nonrefundable application fee for all applicants. $75 for the first child and $35 for each additional child. https://inglesidetutorial.mypaysimple.com/s/ingleside-tutorial-application-fees
4. Upon Acceptance
Based on the application and availability, Ingleside may extend a request for an interview. The interview will be with both parents/guardian and the student.
- A $150 enrollment fee is due and will go towards tuition.
- Both parents/guardian(s) are required to attend orientation the week before the academic year begins.
- Tuition is $4,900 annually. Payments are due the first of each month. Families can choose a 12-month or 9-month payment plan or may choose to pay in full by August 1st of the current academic year.
Considering 1st Grade?
It’s an exciting milestone for both parents and students when it’s time to begin 1st grade. We have learned from experience that accepting younger children frustrates the child and can hinder the class overall – even if the child can do the work. The maturity required is as important as intellectual capability.
For those considering 1st grade, Ingleside has specific requirements so that both the child and family are best served. Parents of any prospective 1st graders must attend an observation day/open house. The child:
- Must be 6 yrs old by August 15th.
- Can identify and recite all letter names and sounds.
- Can color/draw for 10 minutes. (Demonstrates the required endurance, fine motor strength, and ability to focus that will be needed daily in first grade).
- Has completed a “K” math program.
